I’m very pleased to hear that Wiltshire is set to benefit from more than £2 million in Government funding to improve and protect local bus services. It means Wiltshire Council has benefitted from £4,230,538 funding from the Conservative Government to support bus services since 2022.
I was dismayed to hear from residents living around Station Road car park in Devizes that issues of noise and antisocial behaviour have started up again, after a successful drive to stamp it out last year.
Yesterday I met local councillors representing the communities around Stonehenge to talk about the recent decision to go ahead with the tunnel on the A303. I was recently nominated as the Conservative candidate for the new East Wiltshire constituency, which includes Stonehenge and Amesbury.

I was disappointed to hear reports about continuing anti-social behaviour in Devizes over recent months and especially of residents at Caen Hill Gardens, who have experienced unacceptable problems with neighbours over the course of several years.
Earlier this summer I visited Caen Hill Marina to meet local boaters and discuss how to resolve the continuing exclusion of many boat dwellers, both with and without moorings, from the Energy Bill Support Scheme Alternative Funding (EBSS AF).
