Today I asked the Transport Minister when we can expect a decision on future of the north-south road network through Wiltshire. Marlborough is choked with lorries and the Ogbournes, Collingbournes and other villages suffer from unacceptable heavy goods traffic. In memory of Eloise Jackson, 7, killed by a lorry in Collingbourne Ducis in 2021, I urged the Government to act urgently to ensure more of this traffic uses the more suitable A34 and A36.
