Last Friday, a group of fellow MPs and I met Jeremy Quin MP, Minister responsible for DIO to discuss the transfer of MOD housing stock to Annington Property Services Ltd (APL). I know of 15 families in the Devizes area who have received notices to quit their rented properties, and many other tenants across the country have also received notices to quit their homes.
Following our meeting, we have written to the Minister to ask for assurance that the MOD and APL will work closely to ensure the transfer of the homes with sitting tenants. This letter is below.
Wiltshire MPs have been liaising with Cllr Richard Clewer, Cabinet Member for Housing at Wiltshire Council and we will continue to work closely with him.
