Visiting the Plough, in Shalbourne - 11 June, 2024

Delighted that The Plough in Shalbourne as been listed as an Asset of Community Value - which means the local community has a chance to buy the pub and stop it being redeveloped. I lobbied the council for this and I'm really pleased it's now happened. This policy was brought in by the Conservatives soon after 2010 and is one of the great legacies of the Big Society.
