I was delighted to visit RAFA Kidz nursery in Boscombe Down recently . The nursery supports military families with early years provision, and I was very impressed with their approach to childcare. I was particularly interested to hear about their food offering - the nursery produces all its food on site and as such the children (some of whom will eat all three daily meals while at nursery) are not eating ultra-processed foods during the day. I'm told the impact on the children's behaviour has been very encouraging and would love to see this model rolled out further.
