I met with GWH chief exec to catch up on waiting lists (still too high) and hear about the support they give to people leaving hospital into social care. They have an excellent system for managing 'out flows' as they rather hygienically call it, though one problem they have is lack of capacity in care homes in the Marlborough, Burbage, Pewsey area. I'm pleased to hear that Wiltshire Council works well with GWH to support patients needing social care.
